Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time. This page explains exactly what is removed and how.
Option 1 — Disconnect Instagram (fast)
Go to Settings → Instagram connection → Disconnect. This will:
- Delete the access token immediately
- Stop processing new comments
- ⚠️ Keep your previous comments — so you do not lose your own history
Option 2 — Delete the whole account (complete)
Email [email protected] from the address you registered with. Deleting the account removes:
- Your user account and sign-in details
- The encrypted access token
- All comments, classifications and action history
- Synced posts and usage statistics
Option 3 — Through Instagram
In Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites. Removing InstaRelay’s access invalidates our token, so we can no longer read any data. To erase previously collected data, use option 2.
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive confirmation at the same email address.
⚠️ What remains
Server security logs (such as failed sign-in attempts) may persist for a while, because they are needed to prevent abuse. They contain no comment text and no tokens.
